My husband and I did our own videography on our wedding day to help save on the cost of the wedding. He set up two cameras to capture the ceremony and rigged up one in my DIY wedding bouquet.
He then edited the different angles to come up with our own wedding video. 🙂
He created this short video http://youtu.be/VFTujs1CAkQ to show how the camera in my bouquet worked out.
It was a great way to get video of events without anyone realizing that it was being recorded.
We used a GoPro camera (one of the little cameras people put on their heads when skydiving) because it was small and easy to hide between the flowers. (We used real touch flowers to create the bouquet. Real touch flowers created a pretty natural look and we could adjust the flower stems until we got the look we were going for.)
I love my husband’s brilliant idea of putting a camera in my bouquet and wanted to share it with everyone! Enjoy!

This is so awesome. It made me get goosebumps to see everyone looking at you when you walked down the aisle. Had no idea what it’s like before now! I showed my Fiance and at the end he said he’d been waiting for you to throw the bouquet (with the camera). Ha! As if!
Gorgeous dress, by the way. You looked stunning. Aaaaand, welcome to Weddingbee!

I like this idea! I also find it kind of hard to believe no one noticed that camera lens???? It sticks out to me since your (gorgeous) flowers are light.

Nope don’t like it, makes me dizzy because it’s never consistently straight! Moves around too much up, down, side. Stay still dammit!
If I was seasick this would make me sick. LOL

This is brilliant. I was looking for an excuse for a GoPro. I just found it.

Reviving this again – any ideas of how to ‘attach’ the Go Pro within a bouquet of real flowers? I know nothing of flowers or bouquets…. but could it be wired in?
