i’ve made them using real flowers and with tissue paper flowers.  For my friend’s wedding, she wanted the flower girl to carry and kissing ball (aka pomander).   I’ve also made them to go on shepard hooks for the background for guests to take pictures with bride/groom.  I remember they’re real heavy. We had to stabilize the shepard hooks with cement and other things to weights.  I also made them using with tissue paper flowers to use as aisle decor for my sis in law’s wedding.  They took a long time.

I bought several of the styrofoam balls at Dollar Tree and was planning on doing the hydrangea paper punch flower with corsage pins but never got around to it.  (one of my abandoned DIY projects.)

@MayaM85:  I made pomander balls for my wedding. They have actually been around for a while now.

They are very easy to make!!

I got most of my supplies including the flowers from the dollar tree!
