My fiance and I are getting married next year in October. My father is a Dadzilla – he wants everything his way and will throw tantrums and hissyfits if we do not comply. Our main cocern has always been trying to keep cost down so we are constantly looking at all the different avenues – what if we skipped on this, what if we rented this, or what if we made that. We managed to get a huge discount on our venue. Unfortunately, we have to use the in house DJ guys and they are expensive. Their services will come with audio/lighting, MC, and DJ. The food is a decent price, considering that it HAS to be the typical Chinese wedding 10 course meal.
So we recieved an estimate from multiple florists, quoting us anywhere from $150 – $175 per centerpiece. We need 50 centerpieces. We’ve already purchased the 24′ Pilsner Vase. We are looking at possibly making our own centerpieces for our wedding with the rest of the bridal party.
My question is, for those bee’s who have DIY your own wedding centerpieces, would you recommend doing it? Can you post pictures of your creation, and how long did it take you to complete?
