Hi Weddingbees,
I am trying to come up with DIY wedding favors not expensive for about 100 guest.
Any ideals?
I was thinking about:
-Mints(Mint to be jar)
-Small cookies (In a bag stamped on it)
Thanks

FutureMrsBullard: I baked a sweet n salty buffet (strawberry cake pops, cheese straws, honey mustard pretzels, white choc pretzels, caramel chex mix, white choc chex mix, savory chex mix), it was a big hit with my guests.

FutureMrsBullard: i dont know how DIY you are into. but we had a nautical wedding. so we made sea glass candy. super cheap. just slightly time comsuming. about as much time as it would baking anything really. we made all different colors. Darling Husband and I did it together. he did one on his own we had to just eat then and there lol but it worked out. people didnt even realize it was candy!! and we were proud to say we made it. just in case it was too hard for the children, i filled up a few with just gummy fish and bears.

FutureMrsBullard: Cookies are great! You can even make them ahead and freeze them, then defrost them and package them up.

We did ghirardelli squares. With 3 squares each plus twine, tags and bags it ended up being about $160 for 100 favors

FutureMrsBullard: We put together these bamboo favors and people loved them! Cost us about $1.50/person
