20160421_14231820160421_142337I designed the pocket and hand cut them.  Designed the inserts in Word, and printed them at a local copy shop since that was chepaer than printing them at home.  I also lined all of our envelopes, Which I bought at envelopemall.com

Lokie85 :  thank you! I downloaded clip art to design the graphics, then printed on metallic linen card stock. The gold foil wraps are made from doilies. I glued the cards onto them then used a paper cutter from Michael’s to trim the edges. I got the gold doilies on eBay, and the left overs made great place mats at my reception. 😉

    Here are mine!

They’re all hand designed, hand cut and hand foiled. The foil is rose gold but it looks yellow here because of the table. And the envelopes are hand embossed with a copper color.

isabellep :  It’s really easy! You print your design on a laser printer as the toner is what activates the foil. I printed mine in black and white on cardstock from staples for 20¢ and I got two invites to a page. Then all you need is some heat activated foil which I got on amazon. Cut the foil to the size needed and place over the area you want to foil, wrap a piece of paper around it, run it through a laminator and voila!

The foil will stick to anything that was printed black or dark grey. It took me a few tries to get the right heat setting but well worth it. And it’s cheap!

I’ve decide to DIY mine.  My theme is a sparkly/bling theme so I want really sparkly invitations but I know that they are expensive online.  I saw a few youtube videos and decided that it wouldn’t be too hard.  I’m also going to get a laminator to do the halographic printing on it.

GeliBee :  I love the layout of your invites, with the Ceremony info and then the reception on the side.

Do you have the measurements or template or something you could share with me please?

    Hey ladies!
These aren’t quite invitations, but I’m super excited about my save-the-dates for my 2017 destination wedding in Hawaii. The theme is travel so we went with a boarding ticket idea, and the invitations will be passports.

Mailer envelope: air mail envelopes form amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002R5ARCM/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1), hand written by my Maid/Matron of Honor

Boarding pass envelope: cut out with a silhouette cameo from 12×12″ paper
    Band: teal paper from Michaels
Sticker for band: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00007M5LB/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1, used home printer
