Hey ladies! I’m in need of some advice and/or opinions.
I’m definitely going the diy makeup route. I have my heart set on Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation and Estee Lauder Ludicity setting powder.
Drugstore bronzer/blush is fine. Natural lip with a non shiny lip balm.
I’ve always been told I have beautiful blue eyes and that’s one of the things my fiance loves most my physical appearance. I want them to be gorgeous on my wedding day. Falsies are definitely out (they’re gorgeous but I want to look like myself) I’m pretty much out of money to invest in several different mascaras to try out and the nearest Ulta/Sephora is an hour away. I’ve tried Revlon Grow Luscious and it’s too wet/heavy and makes my eyes burn. I alternate my every day mascara – Maybelline Full & Soft and Boots No7 Stay Perfect . Both are great but not enough I don’t think to make my eyes pop in pictures.
Does anyone have any advice, opinions, or suggestions for an AMAZING mascara? I’ve heard wonderful things about Laura Geller GlamLASH Dramatic Volumizing mascara. Anyone tried it?

I don’t have a recommendation (I usually use drugstore, myself) but I’m interested to see what kind of suggestions you get!! 🙂 I’d like dramatic lashes without falsies, too.

Benefit They’re Real is really good!! From the drugstore, I like Maybelline The Rocket. Both give nice, dramatic lashes, but the Benefit one is really great if you’re willing to splurge a little.

I use maybelline colossal volume express. lots of thin coats with dry time in between. Instead of going with an awesome mascara, have you thought about making your real lashes grow? I use vitamin e oil on mine. I bought a bottle of the capsules, and I pop it with a safety pin and squeeze the oil onto qtips, then rub over my lashes right before bed. They get longer and darker in about 2 weeks? I’d reconsider falsies too. They dont have to be huge, they make plenty of short ones, or even single lashes you can add just for a fuller look. 🙂

anhelms: L’Oreal Voluminous. I have tried a hundred mascaras, from $5-$35, and this one is by far my favourite.

+1 for Benefit They’re Real! They have a sample size at Sephora if you want to try it out before buying a regular sized tube. I don’t believe they have a waterproof version through, so be careful if you have watery eyes or if you know you’ll be crying.

I wish I had a new suggestion for you (I use Maybelline Full and Soft, too) but I just wanted to say tht I tried the Benefit They’re Real! and I reaaaally didn’t like it. It went ok way too wet and clumpy and I don’t have an eyelash comb so the couple times I’ve tried it, I have to separate each lash afterward with a toothpick :/ I also really dislike the brush and to me, it looks a little to obvious that I’m wearing mascara, like it’s visibly coated on. I dunno, other people have loved it, but just a word of caution before you but since it’s kinda expensive. Maybe you can get a trail size or free sample first!

I swear by L’oreal Voluminous Butterfly waterproof! My lashes are pretty short and sparse, and this makes them look amazing. Better than Diorshow.
They are Real is also really good, but its mostly a lengthening mascara. I like it paired with Bad Gal for the added volume.

anhelms: I use Lancome Hypnose Star Mascara. It’s great for eye popping. I have pretty terrible lashes, and it’s the only one I’ve found that gives me great natural eyes.

anhelms: I like Benefit “They’re Real” and Maybelline Volume Express “Falsies” Mascara. Whatever you use– make sure it’s supertear proof/waterproof Maybe put in a tear jerker movie or listen to some country songs to get those tears going and test out

+1 for Benefit They’re Real! My lashes look ridiculous when I wear it, and it has amazing staying power.
