I used Ardell Babies as falsies (they are in the “natural” collection) – anything larger than that made me look like I have a house centipede on each eye! My other trick, since I have SUPER oily lids and absolutely everything smudges, was to use a layer of tubing mascara over regular mascara. That “sealed in” the color and volume and prevented any smudging through the day.

I use Loreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes – the white tube extends the lash but its also like glue for the mascara.  I can cry, I can sleep in it and it doesnt give me black racoon eye.  Its AWESOME!! For me it really extends and holds on all day.  All other mascaras have let me down.

They’re Real is pretty much waterproof, and you can get the small tube for $10.  Those last me well over a month, so you’d have plenty to try and to use.

islandlily84:  Oh my goodness YES!! It is amazing but it probably took me like 20 minutes to get it off. (and that was just 1 eye!)

Rimmel’s Scandle Eyes in Retro Glam. It goes on thick and black and layers on well.

The drugstore mascara I always use is the almay triple effect mascara and it works great at building volume and lengthening BUT I’m not sure if it comes in a waterproof version. But if it does I would recommend you trying it out. It’s very inexpensive and definitely worth a try 🙂
