Actually, once I got the pages worked out, they were pretty easy.

Here is the cost breakdown per program:

  • paper – 22 cents
  • vellum – 12 cents
  • ribbon – 12 cents

For a grand total of 46 cents each; can’t beat that!!!

@noritake22: Those are totally cute and so similar to what I would like to do! I have a few technical questions: 

-did you cut the paper yourself to get it that shape and size or did you find it that way for purchase (and where could I find it if I needed it)? 

-for the binding, it looks like you punched two holes to thread ribbon, right? Just making sure

-how long did it take you to figure out the printing? I’m driving myself nuts with figuring out how to lay it all out and orient on the printer so that the correct pages follow one-another in assembly, kwim? 

Sorry for all the questions–I’m just starting to make ours and freaking out a bit!

Mine are similar to the fans by PP…  This is the reverse side with tree astrology, and the front can be seen in the tutorial – here.
