It’s so crazy to think after all the planning and all the hard work, it’s all over! But thanks to my INCREDIBLE photographers, I already got to relive everything that happened that day. People aren’t lying when they say it goes by so fast and it’s all a blur. Before I share a handful of my pics (I have some 1500 to choose from) I thought I’d share some quick things I realized that are common questions on here.
If you’re thinking of DIYing it. DO IT! It makes every aspect of your day so personal and people will appreciate all the extra effort you put into making it special. I DIYd everything from the aisle runner, the signage, the table decor, the photobooth and props, the cake topper and stand. Literally everything!
Get a good photographer, and if you can, a videographer. A good photographer is worth every penny without a doubt. And I spent months on the fence about a videographer and I went for it after seeing my sister-in-laws video. There were so many little things during our day that I’m so excited to see in the video because you can’t capture them in photos. Those little comments, the laughter, the things you remember vividly now, but might forget over time.
Photographers will tell you to do a first look, but if you don’t want to do it, don’t. We didn’t and I don’t regret a thing. Seeing his face at the end of the alter, and the tears (YES!) were so enchanting for everyone.
On the day, let it go. If it goes wrong, it goes wrong. No one else has any idea and it’s not worth getting upset about. Just roll with the punches and enjoy it. Seriously, my quartet and officiant got stuck in traffic and we had to start an hour late, my ceremony flowers fell off the stand right before I walked down the aisle, my DIY aisle runner that I spent hours crafting blew away before the guests arrived and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Ok here’s the fun part:

I am blown away at how beautiful every single one of these pictures is! From first to last–absolutly stunning! Your ceremony space especially gorgeous, and you did a lovely job decorating.
When I got to pictures of you, I freaked out. We are dress twins! I’m picking up my dress tomorrow, and I’ve been debating ever since ordering it whether to get a lace topper and what type of veil would look best. You literally had the look I’ve been imagining, and I’m so happy to see how gorgeous it all looks put together. I don’t think I’ll be able to hold a candle to you, though!
