So this weekend was full on DIY projects. I accomplished alot of what I wanted to do except for one project, our topper. I haven’t even started that yet. Will probably get to that next weekend.
So this weekend I did:
My blue criny:
My bubbles with tags, I did 100 of these:
Finally finished our guestbook and I’m so happy with it:
I added our engagement pictures on the empty pages.
I also made our menus, bought the tolsby frames at Ikea and made one side in English and one side in Portuguese. I also decorated them with our little leafs to keep with the fall theme. We got 10 red frames and 10 white frames to alternate the tables.
I will posting tutorials for some of these in the next couple of days.
What about all my other DIY ladies, post pics of your DIY from this weekend!

Good job!! You got lots done!! I started working on my table numbers, also with the tolsby frame spray painted metallic silver. I hate how uneven the number looks. I cut it by hand with a craft knife but yet still so uneven….. grrrrrrr. Next step is to find a friend with a Cricut and beg them to use it or help me. A fellow Bee did her numbers that way and they turned out perfect!!

I didn’t really get a project completed, but have to say I got lucky and while camping we stopped at a small nearby town and found some great junk/thrift stores! Glad I asked if the woman had some brass looking mason jar rings, as I didn’t want the new aluminum looking ones from the store. She brought out a 5 gallon bucket full !!!! and we picked out about 110 of them, and only $5 ! Some have a little rust or discoloration but that adds to the vintage country theme!!!
Then I’ll buy the lids and cover with chalkboard paint or paper and this will be what the guest will write their name in chalk, and save their table place.
Now I’m off work all week and hoping to scope out and get some material and or doilies and things .. and call florists and bakeries and such !!! EEK !

Oh you were SUPER productive! Love the projects – the little envelopes in the guest book are precious, and I love the tags on the bubbles! Makes me wish I did that (but too late now! hehe). And your crinoline is looking great 🙂
I don’t think it looks uneven at all! The fact that you did that by hand is actually VERY impressive 🙂
