Pinterest and I have a love/hate relationship!! I learned for myself that the DIY/Craft boards there are better than the wedding boards… the wedding boards just make me sad about how much I just can’t do, lol.

I’d start with something small and google tutorials on it. Sometimes craft stores have small classes or the sales people can probably help steer you in the right direction. Maybe books from the local library too. I’d start with a project that doesn’t cost a lot so you don’t feel too bad if it doesn’t turn out. Good luck!

My best advice (that I wish I would take myself) is not to get too many things on the go at once. I have what seems like a million projects on the go right now and while I still have tons of time, sometimes it gets overwhelming and I can’t decide which one to work on first. So many times now I have started a project and then moved onto another before finishing the last, which has left me where I am today: With a ton of half finished projects and the indecisiveness of which to work on next. I wish I would have told myself “one thing at a time!” sooner than now, but oh well!

ETA: Also, make a list of the projects you want to do so you make sure you don’t put too much on your plate, and so that you remember what you have to do.. Another thing I wish I would have done long before now

I agree do one thing each day for your wedding.

Sunday I made the directions map on photoshop.

Monday morning I printed them

Tuesday morning  I cut them up

Tuesday afternoon/ night (now) I stuffed the direction card and stamped the acceptance envelope and main envelope and addressed 45 invites. Now I’m ticking things off my list.

Tomorrow afternoon – order wedding cake and post invites, drop off a few before going to the dentist.
