I just got a whole batch of paper products in the mail so I am going to start prepping invitations (crazy early, but that is a LOT of paper cutting). I am also doing hangers right now for myself and bridesmaids.

i currently working on flowers for my centerpieces and need to still go bush hunting for more sticks, im also doing stump covers(so peeps bums stay clean) by stenciling our initials and wedding date on a chunk of fabric. I have half my invites to address still so those are all mine at the moment. Lots done, lots to go but I heart diy.

I’m half done with my personalized wire hangers, and they are coming out great so far – just have to attach the wire to the wooden hangers now. Just bought fabric to match the ties so I can make the men’s pocket squares, and i’m going to be sewing my pillow cases this weekend for the benches around our ceremony & reception space. Still working on my rag rug, and that’s going to be a long project – I’m about 1/4th of the way there.
Finishing up the wording on my invites, and if I’m ambitious, maybe I’ll do some test prints on that this weekend too!

I am happy to update as of this evening:
Cake topper – now 100%!!
My bouquet – up to around 75%
bouts – yey! 100%
Here’s a pic of some of my projects – 2 of the completed bouts, necklace – so nearly finished, 4 of the photo holders, these still need a little work (and there’s still more to make), and cake topper birds – complete!

I had to look up mad libs – I’d never heard of them before, but they sound FUN! 🙂
Hope you didn’t get dye all over your house!
sounds perfect for your January wedding! Makes me cold just thinking about it!! 😉 hehe
glad I’m not the only one that starts lots of projects at one time then!!
wow these are great! so pretty!
I am EXACTLY the same!! hence I have 6 on the go!! hehe! And then I think, oh well I need the glue gun for this project and stage X of the new project, so I’ll just start that before I finish this one off!
croqueting your bouquet? I’d LOVE to see a pic of this!! 🙂 and growing your own flowers TOTALLY counts as DIY…. in fact that may be the epitome of DIY!!
aww don’t stress! It sounds like you’re both doing great. Like my Fiance keeps telling me ‘there’s still plenty of time’ tho he has been saying that for the past 2 months, and hasn’t seen my list of DIYs
yeeeey!!! not long now!
what will the rug be used for? It sounds great!
Thanks everyone for sharing. It’s lovely hearing what you’re all up to

We are getting married in a Botanical Center, and the flooring inside is cement, so to spruce it up a bit, since the aisle I am walking down is not straight, I figured we could stand on a rag rug with our wedding colors. It’s taking me a long time, because I’m expecting it to be about 4’x6′ but, it’s also not priority if I don’t get it done.
I guess I just like to torture myself with a gazillion DIY projects 🙂

I’m making my own wedding dress and bouquet. The dress will take a long time but be well worth it.

^ Kudos to you for making your own dress!
Cake Topped – done
Garter – done
program fans – template done, just need to print and assemble when i’m ready
Hanger – 50% (i’m only doing one for me, just need it attatched to the hanger)
Seating Chart – 0&
Cardbox – 0&
Bouquet – (0%) unsure if i want paper or silk
i’m not sure if i wanna DIY an aisle runner seeing how long it takes 🙁
So far, that’s all i’m thinking of tackling

I finished my Maid/Matron of Honor brooch bouquet, and all but the base/handle are done on mine! Ten hours worth of work, plus!
The fiance is currently having fun spray painting all our bottles, and accessories pink! (he is dellusional, and has much more to do than he thinks)
Next up is finishing up our bottle centerpieces, then doing up our favor bags!

I’m almost done with Out of Town guest bags, after two girlfriends came over last night and rescued me by helping out. Next are probably centerpieces.
