I just got a whole batch of paper products in the mail so I am going to start prepping invitations (crazy early, but that is a LOT of paper cutting). I am also doing hangers right now for myself and bridesmaids.

i currently working on flowers for my centerpieces and need to still go bush hunting for more sticks, im also doing stump covers(so peeps bums stay clean) by stenciling our initials and wedding date on a chunk of fabric. I have half my invites to address still so those are all mine at the moment. Lots done, lots to go but I heart diy.

I am starting on invitations. Thought we had the idea set in stone but after seeing our sample, I am changing the look of the invite.

My DIY list is:

– Wish tree

– Escort cards

– Cake stand

– Garter

I’m half done with my personalized wire hangers, and they are coming out great so far – just have to attach the wire to the wooden hangers now.  Just bought fabric to match the ties so I can make the men’s pocket squares, and i’m going to be sewing my pillow cases this weekend for the benches around our ceremony & reception space. Still working on my rag rug, and that’s going to be a long project – I’m about 1/4th of the way there.

Finishing up the wording on my invites, and if I’m ambitious, maybe I’ll do some test prints on that this weekend too!

@Sparkidoodle:  We are getting married in a Botanical Center, and the flooring inside is cement, so to spruce it up a bit, since the aisle I am walking down is not straight, I figured we could stand on a rag rug with our wedding colors.  It’s taking me a long time, because I’m expecting it to be about 4’x6′ but, it’s also not priority if I don’t get it done.

I guess I just like to torture myself with a gazillion DIY projects ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m making my own wedding dress and bouquet. The dress will take a long time but be well worth it.

^ Kudos to you for making your own dress!

Cake Topped – done

Garter – done

program fans – template done, just need to print and assemble when i’m ready

Hanger – 50% (i’m only doing one for me, just need it attatched to the hanger)

Seating Chart – 0&

Cardbox – 0&

Bouquet – (0%) unsure if i want paper or silk

i’m not sure if i wanna DIY an aisle runner seeing how long it takes ๐Ÿ™

So far, that’s all i’m thinking of tackling

I finished my Maid/Matron of Honor brooch bouquet, and all but the base/handle are done on mine! Ten hours worth of work, plus!

The fiance is currently having fun spray painting all our bottles, and accessories pink! (he is dellusional, and has much more to do than he thinks)

Next up is finishing up our bottle centerpieces, then doing up our favor bags!

I’m almost done with Out of Town guest bags, after two girlfriends came over last night and rescued me by helping out. Next are probably centerpieces.
