@stacie7777:  I think the room is a bit excessive (unless your wedding is ending late or something), but the travel fee isn’t unheard of.  I know my photographer charges $1 per mile if it’s over 40 miles from her studio, but both my photographer and my DJ are within a 30 min drive.

There aren’t any djs in Flint? or Lansing? Where are you finding these companies that the drive to Clio is too far?

My Fiance is in a band that plays a lot of weddings.  If it’s something that requires travel, a hotel room is fairly standard.  Food is standard period.  They don’t charge for drive time, but I know a lot of vendors will charge a travel fee.

Can you find anything closer or is this the one your heart is set on? I don’t really know anything about the hotel fee i know traveling fees are standard.
