So here is a question for you. We are having a mixed gender wedding party and since neither of us know about dresses nor would I dream of picking one I am not sure what the best approach. The guys will be wearing black suits, white shirts and we are getting them burgundy ties. FH and I will be wearing light gray 3 piece suits with burnt orange ties. I am getting the girls matching earrings and necklaces and I think burgundy dresses would go well. The pics below shows what the flowers look like. So any suggestions for how a guy manages the look? Do I just give them a color and say get a dress close to it?

I am thinking my next big project is to find the cake maker. To be honest, this is the one I am having the hardest time with, so many options in the area. How do you begin to narrow the field?

Hey Bees!

I am getting married 09/24/16 at Raspberry Plain in Leesburg.

We are using R&R Catering, Nicole Haun Photography, Gaudium String Quartet and Tuscarora Mill for the Rehearsal Dinner.

I am currently looking for a DJ for under $1000 and a reasonably priced florist!  We need 5 bridesmaids bouquets, 7 boutes, bridal bouquet and toss, grooms bout and 16ish small centerpieces (used to accent the lanterns and candles on the table) and we are hoping to keep it under $2500.  Does anyone have anyone they suggest??

Thanks ladies!!

nfripp1:  I did not for the same reason as you!  But we ended up strapping a sign to our pup while on vacation and getting postcards from Vistaprint.  We got 250 post cards for $34 after tax and they arrived in 6 days!  They were not exactly what I had wanted for my save the dates when we first got engaged but for that price I can be flexible.  The photo looks blurry in the upload but in person it is nice and clear 🙂
