While not totally rare, she is definitely rarely seen. We have a full English Lab, so she’s a very stocky body with a block head and big paws. Most commonly seen are American Field Labs, and lab-mixes, which tend to be smaller, lean, and have a long nose.

I have a rare blue chihuahua

He was literally BLUE as a baby

^ NOT a photo of my dog…I had old photos of him on my AOL account (hah) but lost them. He looked exactly like this, maybe more bluish though.

He now has half-long hair, not really long haired and not short haired, not sure how that happened, he’s a pure short hair AKC with papers.

His name is Luigi πŸ™‚

Here’s a photo of him from last night when I was tired in bed

I hate editing to add because it creates spaces and annoys me, so Luigi is 9 years old, 10 on June 10th.  He was 8 weeks when I got him and could fit in the palm of my hand.  He used to sleep in the curve of my neck until he became too big.

A month or so after I got him I found him in hypoglycemic shock and had to feed him karo syrup, it’s common for his breed. Never happened again but was the scariest thing I’ve ever seen. We’re attached at the hip.

My parents have two long haired german shepherds. No one ever knows what they are when they see them. I don’t have any pictures of them on my computer but they look like this:

Irish Terriers are a somewhat rare breed, with only 300 puppies born each year in the US. This is my nine year old boy, Finn!
