I’m considering starting off as a Pampered Chef consultant to help pay for the wedding and I was wondering if anyone else is a consultant and has any advice? Do you recommend doing it? How did you get started?
I’ve talked about it with the woman who would be my director, and she’s really sweet, but if I do this, she makes more money so I feel like she’s trying really hard to sell the idea to me, and I just want an honest opinion.
Any thoughts are appreciated!

@MandaMack: I would TOTALLY buy from you. I love that stuff and haven’t been to a party since I moved to Seattle from CA – thats 3 YEARS and I am TOTALLY missing my fix,
PS – thats all I can offer in the way of “advice” heeheehee

@jackie-o: Hahaha, well thanks! If I do end up doing it, I’ll send you a PM with a link to my shop, lol.
I know I could be good at it once I got started, I’m just afraid I’ll have trouble getting started. How many of my friends would want to throw a party? If one did, most of the others would go, so why would they each throw a party? My family all live 500 miles away, so I couldn’t do a party for them! I would ask people at work if anyone is interested, but I don’t want to bother people, know what I mean?
As I said to my best friend, I love cooking, I love talking, and I love making money….roll that all together and you basically have a Pampered Chef consultant, lol. But getting that first wave of parties that will (hopefully) lead to more parties or people wanting to sell for you is what scares me!
