I belong to Weight Watchers so I use their app. I also have a Couch to 5k app that I haven’t started using yet. One of the “trainers” is a zombie, haha

I use MyFitnessPal for calorie tracking. I’ve tried a few others (LoseIt, etc.), but MFP has the best selection of foods in their database. Even when I google search calorie counts on my computer, usually the first result is from MFP! 

For activity tracking, I use RunKeeper (to track runs, walks, biking, etc.), Nike+ Running (to compete with my sister for total weekly and monthly mileage 🙂 ), and GymPact (to make a few bucks from meeting my run schedule, which I have to do anyways since I’m training for a marathon). I also use Fitocracy (where you earn points based on the intensity of your workout). Sometimes I feel silly for using so many things, but it’s satisfying to be able to update each of the apps after finishing a workout!

I haven’t used any myself, but an acquaintance of mine used the Lose It! app and website and got great results. Her weight loss was astonishing. She said it was hard at first, but got easier. I don’t want to put all of her business out there, but she lost upwards of 25 pounds.

My jaw dropped when I saw the pictures she posted of her weight loss. She looked great and, more importantly, comfortable. 

I’ve heard great things about My Fitness Pal as well, mostly from this site.

I use My Fitness Pal for everything – it also integrates with Run Keeper to keep track of my running habits, so I use that too. In addition, I use an app called Moves, which counts your steps all day long (I like it because you don’t have to remember to stop or start it – it just turns on and off automatically). It’s a great addition because you don’t really think about the fact that you burn calories every day just by walking to the subway or the store or whatever. It does kill your battery, though, and I think they only have it for iPhone.

I’m not crazy about myfitnesspal – I’d rather track my activity and improvement than calories. I use fitocracy, you can make challenges and beat yourself at them.  There is a community.

I also use yogastudio for yoga practice at home and nike+ for running.

I use MFP, MapMyFitness for walks/runs, and Couch to 5K. So far I’ve lost 24 lbs!

I love using mapmyrun. It’s great to tracking mileage and splits. And they send you emails at the end of the week letting you know how many workouts you did, how many calories you burned, etc.
My fitness pal drove me crazy because after I entered everything in, it would say “If you keep this up, you’ll lose 15 pounds in 5 days!” I would yell at my phone. I found that to be really annoying.

@oxstardust421xo:  I use LoseIt and nike+.  I just recently downloaded runkeeper since more of my friends use that.  That way I become more accountable for my runs.

I used to use MFP but I’m not a fan of it

I use Jillian Michaels app. I have been using it religiously since January, along with using a Polar FT watch HR monitor. I keep up with my calories and my workouts on the app. Ive lost 30 lbs this year and have maintained it by using the app, working out, running and eating clean: )

I use Livestrong’s “My Plate” app on my phone… very similar to fitnesspal I think.  I love it!  I use it to track my caloric intake.  

I use iSmoothrun to track my interval training, and I use Nike+ when I’m just going for a straightforward run.

iSmoothrun is awesome because you can tailor your workout (i.e.you can choose how long you sprint vs walk, etc.).  You play your own playlist as you workout, and a voice will speak to you telling you when to walk, run, etc.  It’s really easy!
