So, as I’m going thru withdrawals of not having Mr to wake up next to, I’m reminiscing on the lil things we do together that mean so much. Mr like for me to tweeze his face (more or less the ingrowns) and its really the only way for him to fall asleep. THe first time he asked me to do it I was so afraid of hurting him I refused (I tweeze my eyebrows and would not want him doing that for me). Now though its one of the things I miss, his head in my lap as I go to town on his face, minutes later he’s sleep and I have complete control of the remote…lol
Do any of you do things not so common together?

@TLH21:We listen to financial workshops together and talk about it for hours. Its so weird. I am in the financial industry and he is obsessed with learning as much as he can about investing money. Odd couple, but it works:0)

@Soladylike: That’s different but sounds so cool…We do poetry too. Its so nice to have things in common and to be able to have something unique just as a couple I think.

We’re into politics and will talk about things like voting demographics, local precincts, voter tendencies, etc.

I think it’s not so common that Darling Husband and I share such a small space. We literally do everything together, because we have no other choice. I’m always talking to my sister or friends who are off at the gym while their SO/DH is at a sports practice, or they are just in another floor of their own home on the computer while the other person is watching TV in another room. We are always together, especially on weekends – the only time one of us ventures out without the other is when someone is sick.

Same here. Fortunately, it also relates to my career. We talked about politics for hours on our first date.

My Fiance and I also do everything together. We get a lot of raised eyebrows from family and friends becuase Fiance won’t go into Home Depot without inviting me along. We are literally best friends.
I also tweeze his eyebrows every once in a while and pluck all of his gray hairs (which I think just make them worse).
One time while we were cooking turkey he put gravy on his chest and asked me to lick it off….. 🙂 hahaha. Not that you guys wanted to know that….

My husband and I are both writers, so we’ll ask each other advice about plots for books we’re working on. Sometimes he’ll come up with way too many ideas for one of my stories, and I’m trying my hardest to keep up or to just tell him that it won’t work with my plot or character. It’s a lot of fun. I remember when we were dating, and we would go to Whataburger and write all night.

@moderndaisy: Us too! We’re pretty much inseperable except during work hours. During the winter Darling Husband snowboards so I get a bit of alone time, but usually after about two hours one of us breaks down and texts the other an “I miss you!” message. We have room to spread out in our house, but we always just stick together 🙂

We listen to a lot of music together. Pulling up things on the computer showing each other. We spend hours doing that, telling each other the stories that go along with some of the songs, including ones we hear that remind us of each other. He’s also trying to teach me how to play rockband, he’s awesome at it …. i’m tone deaf … he’s very patient, but hanging out and goofing around is what we do!

My Fiance and I unfortunately have to spend the holidays and a few weeks apart this year 🙁 and one thing I’m definitely missing is having my grocery store partner. I never realized how much I love grocery shopping with him until I had to go back to doing it alone… I suppose I feel the same way for most my errands. I love his company… makes chores enjoyable!

We do everything together, and one of those things is to beat each other up in our martial arts classes. He has a stronger technique, but I’m faster, so it makes things interesting. 😉

We met playing poker, and poker is probably the main “not so common” thing we do together. When we play live I usually play at much higher stakes than him, so that is also abnormal in the poker world. Most girls you see in the poker room are sitting lovingly behind their men.
Okay, I will be honest. We also have two stuffed hippos that we won at Dave and Busters, and we may or may not buy them onesies.

@heatherrobyn:that’s definitely uncommon (gravy on chest) but also quite hilarious.
