I know tons!! I work in a maternity store, have some really wonderful clients & some really annoying clients. One lady today kept yelling at her husband to get her things. Sent him out 4x!!!  First water (understandable), then a pretzel, quesadillas,  a milkshake. Never said thank you. Was just super nasty with him, yelled at him that the baby wanted these things. Even said “Don’t you want your baby happy?”. Ridiculous & disrespectful!!! He picked something out for her she told him not to give her anything else because everything he likes is ugly. She was only 12weeks!

@fresitachulita: omfg, yes!  My 2 bfs just had babies and if I am involved in one more convo regarding how often/much you have to pee while pregnant or following pregnancy I will seriously jump off a fucking bridge. I don’t care if you pissed yourself at the grocery store!

Only those who were already annoying before they got pregnant.

Parenthood has brought a couple former-airheads (males and females) to a new level of sanity and class… unfortunately this isn’t the case every time.

My friend is currently pregnant (due in 3 days!)…she’s not the annoying one, but a new mom just posted on her facebook and I cringed. My friend’s husband and SO are coworkers, and another one of their coworkers just had a baby, and his wife is rather..peculiar.

Anyway…

A few days ago SO’s coworker’s wife (points if you followed my description!) posted on my friend’s FB asking her if she is doing natural labor, because she didn’t think it was as bad as everyone said and “I think you could totally do it if you wanted!”

I was like…what?!

First, that’s a pretty personal thing to be asking about on FB. If she really needed to ask, she could send a private message.

Second, I know for a fact that she and my friend barely know each other. Their husbands aren’t really even friends, just friendly coworkers.

And no one else has posted on her FB since, so it’s the top comment just sitting there…

SO WEIRD!!!

(well, I thought it was weird…I’m not a mom yet, so maybe it’s not a weird thing to ask, so correct me if I’m wrong!)

The only woman I know whom I found incredibly annoying whilst she was pregnant is the wife of one of the FI’s friends. You see, she smoked – both tobacco and marijuana – when she was pregnant with their son but would then bitch about women who smoked in their cars whilst their children were on board. UndecidedYell

@fresitachulita:  My ex-friend called me right after she did an at-home insemination. She was laying in bed “with sperm in me for the first time!” (she’s a lesbian) and felt the need to call me and share that. It only got worse from there. I heard all about why she had to wear thick pads and how many times she threw up each day (and where. and consistency.). She made outragious demands about her baby shower. She complained about everything nonstop. It didn’t end when she had the baby either. Thankfully, our friendship died (for reasons unrelated to her prenancy/kid, surprisingly) shortly after the baby was born.

@pineapplez17:  Your story made me remember that I had a friend who was pregnant and kept “liking” articles about something called “Orgasmic birth”. Um. I don’t need to know about that, thank you.

@mamadingdong: i know what you mean about it being pretty much the only thing i think about and im only 6 weeks! almost no one knows in real life but i do think without baby forums or the february 2014 baby thread here i might have gone mad.

its a big change and the symptoms kick in way earlier than expected. i think it tends to make me a bit more selfabsorbed. too early to know how it will go once i announce it to the world

@Extension54:  Oh my goodness I’m SO happy that wasn’t a picture of you! I’m only 7 weeks (today!), and those stretch marks and creepy naked guy made me gag a little! To be fair: 7 weeks. I’m gagging at everything right now…
