@luvmama12: halo settings (think thats what they are called?) are so awesome. I love your choice!- Yes actually the picture I posted is an actual possible contender in the ring races (bf saw it and loved it! And its quite affordable on etsy). Im glad he liked yours as well! πŸ˜€ ring porn is fun

@MrsT2b: YES! very good! indeed, this ring is an actual contender…as is another one from the same seller. Such a skilled craftsman! I love the idea that I might be getting a hand crafted ring like that- and its oval…which in my experience is not usually the norm?

Which rings/stuff do you like from the seller?

@Bellanouva: I will actually be getting my ring from MasterGoldCraft! I’m getting a custom version of the setting below, except it will be in rose gold with a white gold trellis and all three stones will be round diamonds. I CANNOT WAIT to see how it will turn out!

I love the one you’ve chosen too, I love ovals and was torn between having my center stone round or oval but decided on round in the end… but I think ovals are so elegant! Plus they look bigger too πŸ˜‰

@thatelisagirl, that ring is so pretty!  I have a pink obession too, that’s why I’m getting pink sapphire in my ring!! πŸ™‚  I wish I knew more about morganite before I went looking at rings, ’cause I would potentially have gotten Morganite instead of pink sapphire.

@jaybird12 isn’t Mark Schneider Designs at Kay Jewelers??  I’ve seen that ring/style for a while now, but can’t remember what jewerly store I’ve seen it at.

Here is my ring, except the middle stone will be a Heart shaped pink sapphire!  I’m just waiting on it!

@MrsT2b: oooo very nice! I love the idea of rose gold πŸ˜€ and the craftsmanship and stone placement! very classic, and since it will be custom, it will truly be a one of a kind!

πŸ˜€ Yes ovals do look a bit bigger, but mostly I chose it because I was told that square cuts or non circular or oval cuts dont show the beauty of the aquamarine as much (I think it has to do with the way it reflects light as well as a decrease in the risk of having inclusions! *shudder*)

πŸ™‚ I cant wait to see pics of your custom ring soon!

I’ve been pretty in love with Emmaf rom Helzberg. It’s pretty much perfection in my eyes. This picture made me fall in love. Her and I have the same ring size, and I would definitely need the extra band like her. *drool*

Not the best pic but I recently found this beauty.  I would prefer a princess cut diamond but this looks so good with the round…drool…

This is my dream ring (: From Etsy seller EidelPrecious. It’s a peach sapphire engagement ring set in 14k rose gold. Instead of a peach sapphire though I would love morganite. Originally my dream ring was the Tiffany Novo, but I’m not really a diamond person and we’re students atm. The diamonds that surround the sapphire on this ring are just enough for me (: So classic, I love it!

@sugarpea: I LOVE that ring! It’s one of my “favourites” on Etsy and I check it everyday seriously haha! Great choice! I think peach sapphire is actually a better choice for everyday wear than morganite because it’s stronger anyway.
