So, I was thinking that I was looking good. Then I took a picture of myself and thought “Okay, that isn’t even close to what I thought I look like.” I can look in the mirror and see one thing and immediately snap a picture and it be totally different. I hope it is the pictures that are lying. My husband and I have a running joke that “my kind beauty can not be accurately captured on film”. I try to hold on to that hope. Is it me or do your self-photos always make you feel a bit…yuck. Also, I hope that I am not the only grown woman taking random pictures of myself. lol Here is the one I just took.

@MrsFuzzyFace: I agree with you. I’ve stopped trying to do the cool self photos (I admit I did when I was younger), but to get a good one I would have to try like 50x. Some photos I look great, but in general I believe I am better looking than photos indicate (I hope haha).

I have taken one, and only one, good self photo. Like, holy cow I look so good I need to change my facebook pic NOW, good.
Every other self-photo has me looking like a banshee. And, oh how I’ve tried to replicate that one good photo!

- Wedding: September 2014 - Lodge
OH yeah my cell pictures never turn out how I think they should. I took a picture on my phone last week of my wedding dress that I purchased that day and I’m like “Really?” The dress does not look anything like it does in person (you can barely see the sash which may just be because of the way I was standing) and I look like crap. It also made me look a little heavier which I’m already self conscious of….SIGH

@NurseMandie: I love your reaction “Really?!” That pretty much sums up my feelings on cell phone pics too. I bet you looked great in real life though.
