Hello fellow Bees!
I am new to posting on this site, but have go to the boards for lots of my questioned anwered! I would love some opinions on the two dresses that I am debating apon. I am getting married in Oct 29, 2011, and I feel in love with the Watters Lasara dress:
I wanted a very unique dress and this dress is so so different from anything that I have seen: so whimsical and lovely, but I am having a pretty formal wedding. What are your opinons about this dress? Too informal? Also it looks so summery to me and the wedding is in late fall. ?? Help!

@WiscoBeeGal:I LOVE this dress! I don’t think it’s informal at all.

This dress is gorgeous and I think you can either play it up to be more formal or more casual. It’s up to you. If you want to style it more formally, possibly wear your hair up, put your girls in more formal Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, carry more “formal” flowers vs flowers like gerbera daisies, etc. Does that make sense? I think a dress is as formal or casual as you make it.
If you wore this dress with your hair down, no veil, no shoes, on the beach, it would be very informal. But if you dress yourself up more formally, along with your bridal party, then the dress is formal as well. 🙂

I think it is gorgeous and you can dress it up with accessories and an updo to enhance the formality of it. It will look great! Such a pretty dress!

It is whimsical yet formal and suits fall.

Thanks everybody! The other thing that was bothering me just a little (even though I still love it!!) was that it wasn’t as form fitting as others that I was trying on…
I also fell in love with this Paloma Blanca dress, style 4111:
It is totally different than the Watters dress! It is more formal, and form fitting, but the the thing about this one is that I wasn’t thinking it was unique enough. I would actually take off the crystal beading it came with and add a more unique sash at my natural waistline. Maybe I should do a poll because I love both of them…

@WiscoBeeGal:Wow, also a gorgeous dress! Do you have any pictures of you in the dresses? I think that will make the difference. Also, what is your venue? Inside?

@WiscoBeeGal: Have you got pics of you in either of them or both?

@WiscoBeeGal: I like the Watters dress more. It’s a lot more unique than the Paloma Blanca.
