I look at what is in front of me (ex. linens, centerpiece) and the entertainment/food&cake..i have heard many brides complain that their veil is not perfect, or their aisle runner is wrinkled blah blah i don’t think anyone notices those things but you. Just thing about where the guests will be..sitting at the dinner table, dancing on the floor, eating the food, etc

I think it depends on the person. I’d say the majority of guys don’t at all.
As for women, I think some do, but even those who do aren’t going to care or judge you as harshly as you might imagine in your head.
To keep perspective I keep reminding myself that I went to my cousins wedding 5 years ago and I swear I can’t even remember whether or not we ate or what her colors were. Much less little details about chairs and appetizers.

I definitely look at the details, but I don’t try and find them. If they’re there great and it adds to my overall view of the wedding, but I don’t go through the night looking for what isn’t there or what they chose not to incorporate. The thing I really notice is how heartfelt the ceremony is (:

I would say yes, for myself and I would have said no for my guests, except that every single guest at our wedding has told me how they loved all the little details I put into it and they seriously noticed everything. It really really really surprised me! I certainly had days leading up to the wedding wondering why the heck I’m doing _____ because no one is going to notice, I’m happy to say I was wrong!

Thanks for all the input ladies… I am DEF not going to add all the minuscule details I was before. As long as it is beautiful, great food and good music The guests and Hubby and I will have a GREAT TIME!!! Good luck planning ladies!

I don’t think anyone will notice all the details (unless maybe they’re planning their own wedding), but I do think different people will notice different things. I’ve had a lot of people comment on my invites– which makes me so happy because I spent forever diy’ing them. I think some people will notice the favors. Some people will notice the decorations. Some people will notice the music. i do think that SOMEONE there will appreciate everything we do… it just won’t be 1 person noticing it all.
