Her gift should be just as big/cute/expensive as the bridesmaid's gifts : (0 votes)

    1) i’m not sure this is necessary.

    2) you can have the bridal party (hello groomsmen!) hand these out

    3) a gift certainly isn’t necessary

We’re having my niece be the”Guestbook Attendant” which will play the same role you described (sitting next to the guestbook before the ceremony and handing out the programs).  This is a typical “position” for weddings I’ve attended.

We do plan to include her name in the program and also bought her a smaller version of the corsages (so that she’s honored).  I hadn’t planned to buy her any other gifts.

What about just a cute trinket bracelet or something? It doesn’t have to be super expensive. It’s really not a big deal if you don’t get her a gift, but it would be nice. Same for your readers, it’s not NECESSARY but I think it would just be a nice gesture. Or maybe write them a really nice thank you!
