I’m wondering if I should give my wedding party cards with their gift (which will be at the rehearsal dinner), or wait to mail the thank you card after the wedding. I’d like to give really nice personalized thank you cards, not just the ones that came with our wedding invitations. If I give them thank you cards before the wedding, I will obviously also send a thank you card after the wedding to thank them again for being in the wedding and for their gift, but does this also need to be a special card, or can it be one of our regular thank you cards that matches the invitations.
Thanks! 🙂

We are going to give them their gifts prior to the wedding and then when I write the thank you notes for everyone else, I will write and send theirs to them.

I am giving my Wedding Party nice special thank you cards with their gifts at the Rehearsal Dinner.
But will also be sending them the typical thank you card after the wedding for their gift etc.

Oh, I misread before I voted I think. I gave them their special thankyou note at the rehearsal dinner, and now will send them the same thankyou card everybody’s getting for their gifts.
So, yes thankyou card before and after, but only once special

Thanks for the replies. I agree that I should give the special thank you card with their gift at the rehearsal dinner. However, all of the thank you cards for bridesmaids, flower girls, etc that I’ve seen are written in the past tense, making me think that I should send them after the wedding. Very strange.
