I have never slept over a brides house in any wedding I have been in. My girls are not staying with me (well a few are only because they are family, not the friends).  I find this a little strange or at least in my circle it is.

I wouldnt be upset she doesnt want to stay over, however if she is known for over sleeping I would be concerned. I would ask her what time she plans to set her alarm and then maybe call her to make sure she has gotten up?

I think you have a right to not have the b. party the day before. I’m not sure why you are upset at your Bridesmaid or Best Man for making the suggestion. Why couldn’t you have just explained why the night before wouldn’t work? Maybe I’m missing something.

I understand why you are worried about her over sleeping ( I am just like her on that one), but I don’t think you really can tell her where she has to sleep the night before.  Yes, she will be missing out of something that is alot of fun and meaningful to you.  Is there someone like a SO of hers that is more reliable when it comes to waking up, maybe you can make arrangements with them to help out.
