Guys, I’m going to close this thread for the afternoon… to give Susan and AbigailAvaWedding a chance to hash things privately.

I’ll re-open the thread later today or tomorrow (or sooner, if Susan private messages me and requests it).

I’ve been following this post, and I’m very glad to hear that the vendor followed up on her promise to you and make everything right.  I’m also very glad you had a chance to talk with the bride who ended up with your dress…it’s comforting to know that she will be able to enjoy your dress just as much as you did on your wedding day.

Happy to hear the seller did the right thing and the situation was resolved to everyone’s satisfaction. And Susan, thanks to this thread you can now rest easy that the bride wearing your dress cherishes it as much as you do. Best wishes to you with your baby.

Oh man that was an interesting read!

Susan, I’m so glad the situation was rectified. For me, it would take a while to calm down and get rid of the awful feeling of being taken advantage of.

The business of internet buying and selling is a scary one. The whole idea of the Ebays and preownedweddingdresses is to save a buck. I never would have fathomed this situation… A bride coming here to express her situation of being lied to and snagged for a great sell… and then the questionable business rep comes here and cries slander. Sounds like the business should be investigated, but anyways…

Sounds like a Lifetime movie, huh? 🙂

Good for you Susan!!! Mr. Bee, you’re great too!

@mrskesslertobe We sent Susan money for her accessories on top and in addition to the other $300 she requested from us. She said she would rather have money for the accessories than wait a month for us to locate them for her, which we were going to try to do for her. The situation is completely resolved at this point. We wish you the best of luck with your wedding planning and search for the perfect gown. The thread is going to be closed now by Mr.Bee since Susan got a resolution that she is happy and satisfied with.
