I am wondering if I have to have a bouquet.
I feel like the only reason I would have a bouquet is because it is tradition. I don’t really want to carry anything. I also don’t want to cover the front of my dress. Many of my friends have complained that they wish they would have held their bouquets higher or lower or this or that because it was covering their face or their dress or… you get the point. I know where I am holding some flowers is going to be the last thing on my list considering all the other important things going on at the moment.
I have considered carrying something other than flowers, but can’t think of anything I love. I’d rather do flowers than feathers or button/broaches. It is a fall wedding, so a fur muff is out. I would carry a rosary or strand of pearls, but I am not catholic and do not want to offend my extremely conservative catholic relatives.
Let me know if you ladies have any thoughts, ideas, suggestions. I have a feeling I will just end up doing the same old’ floral bouquet, but thought I would see what everyone though.
