that chair seems pretty neutral looking and maybe you could go with pretty much any neutral color rug. Or especially if you like matching things, I would say go for a matching rug. I can’t tell what color besides white is in the chair (a green?) but that would be a nice color rug. Or you could go with a dark brown rug, but that would be a lot of darkness with the table.

oh, I see. I think you could do a print rug, but the colors would  have to match. So, yeah, finding it will be the trick. 🙂

(Is that green and brown in the chair also?) A blue/brown rug might be a nice place to start.

To me getting a matching pattern rug would be too matchy, since the chairs have such a bold pattern, I would go with a solid rug & would take the accent color from the chairs (which appears to be a goldish color) and have a solid rug in that accent, which will pull out that color from the chairs & not make the whole area look too much in the  “blue/grey” family.

I would get a rug that has a washed out, vintage look with cream, brown , green and even hits of blue but in small doses.  That would also help to tie in the color of the cherry wood table. I would not pick one solid color. My other option would be a second life carpet with the same tones.

Love those chairs!

I love those chairs!! Where are they from?  I agree, I’d like a cream or brown rug with them.

@MacFaniam24: Oh! Pier 1 makes a great rug that is soooo easy to care for. It’s like a basket texture (but softer…maybe sisal?) center with a soft chocolate border on the outside. That’s what we have in our dining room. I bet the brown and tan in that rug would match perfect.

I agree with Sprinkles–get a plain rug so you don’t lose the pattern in the chairs–it’s so gorgeous!

I love those chairs. I looked them up on the US website and the Canadaina website.

Even though our dollar is higher than the US dollar, they still want $60 more per chair here in Canada.

And the stores here wonder why we cross border shop!
