Tons of brides do! Do what makes you feel the happiest and most confident πŸ™‚ The only reason I could see a blusher being difficult is how it would jive with your head scarf, I don’t think being petite would mess with a veil/blusher! But depending on how you work your scarf, I’m sure you could if you wanted to, but a veil/blusher is not required!!

@Mrsgurzakovic:  Do you have a picture of you/the scarf you’ll be wearing? Maybe we can give suggestions if you’re set on a veil, but really, not necessary!

@love108:  I agree! Let’s see some pics! πŸ˜‰

But I definitely think that you don’t HAVE to wear a veil. Whatever makes you feel most beautiful and comfortable is what you should go with! And if a veil feels like too much for you, then skip it!

That said, I LOVED wearing a veil, and it went perfecctly with my ballgown. But I had a pretty simple lace mantilla that didn’t cover my face or anything, and my dress was incredibly plain.

I would probably go with a beautiful scarf and leave it at that, maybe with a jeweled headband on top?

I think I veil is too much with the scarf.  A veil isn’t necessary to be a bride!

@Mrsgurzakovic:  I would definitely go simple. Maybe something really short, like elbow length. Perhaps you could go to a bridal store– with your headscarf and try some on to see what it’d look like (even without the dress). Can’t wait to see your pictures in June!! Could you do some sort of jeweled brooch/pin on the sides near your ears?

i think a veil would be too much since you have the scarf. Maybe find a scarf with some bling on it if you feel like you need to have something bridal…. I didnt wear a veil and I dont regret it one bit! lol a veil doesnt make you a bride!!!!

your dress is gorgeous btw πŸ™‚

I would put a really ornate pin on your scarf….no need for a veil also.
