I think it’s most important that you’re comfortable! If you think that you won’t be able to handle the super high ones, maybe you can sell them on ebay and get the shorter ones instead?

If you’ve had them for a year and you’re still concerned, then I say get rid of them and wear a pair you’re going to be comfortable with.

woah! yeah, get the kitten heels.

Have you tried selling the other shoes? You’ll still take a loss on them, but if you’ll never wear them, it’s better to sell them and recoup SOME of that money!

Comfort is crucial. If you aren’t comfortable in your shoes, that will throw everything off and people will notice. $150 is not worth the discomfort they bring you, no matter how pretty they may be.

Function before fashion – without a doubt.  Who will really see your shoes, anyway??  Maybe you can resell the original, pricy pair online.  A lot of girls get excited about their bridal shoes but it’s just not something that gets me hyped.  I’m wearing simple wedges b/c like you, I never wear heels and don’t want to be scared to dance or worse fall in front of everyone!!
