First, you are gorgeous!  So I could not chose between the photos fairly… and I was sure I’d vote for long hair.  If you just want a change, I’d say get a layered, long style as a go-between, so you’d have the fun and attitude of the shorter cut without the big chop.

Your hair looks darker in the first photo?

Oh my gosh, girl. You are gorgeous with both short and long hair!!! Seriously. I was torn after my wedding, too. I loved my long wedding hair but, like you, my hair is thick, and I was just pulling it back every day anyway.

Maybe cut it shorter so you get to experience that for a while? Seeing as your hair grows quickly (mine too!), you’ll have long hair again before you know it. 🙂

I think you would look great with a length somewhere in between the 2 pictures. Maybe a little past your armpits? And long layers would look great on you, too!

Both look nice. I think I like the short a tad more

I think long hair is far more flattering on you. You look so pretty with long hair!

I like both. You have the face shape and the beauty to pull of both styles with ease. I will be of no help haha.

You are so pretty! I just took the leap and cut mine. I have very thick hair as well. I was wearing it up everyday, its so much work to dry, curl/straighten! I went with layers, long and short. I only cut 3″ off to make it healthy again. It’s still well below my shoulders. I also started washing and drying my hair at night and showering and styling in the morning. Saves time!! Good luck!!

I’m no help! I think you look great in both hairstyles. You mention that you often wear your hair in a ponytail so maybe you’re not loving the long hair so much right now? Maybe try a new style at an in-between length?

I think you look a lot younger with it long, so it depends on how you want to look. I love the shorter hair, tho!
