You definitely don’t look like a big girl to begin with. i would think you were about 6 months, but I didn’t really look pregnant at all at 16 weeks.. Don’t flame me!!! Your belly button is so cute! And this might be a bad question but are you having twins or just one?
you look beautiful Regardless..
YOU don’t look large, your belly is bigger than mine was at that stage, but everyone shows and grows differently! I am 25.5 weeks now and am showing WAY more than a friend who is 27 weeks. We all do different things 🙂 looks like a perfect preggo belly to me!
Is this your first baby?
I wouldn’t say ‘too’ large at all! You look lovely. You’re definitely showing more than me and most of the girls in my month group at that stage but everyone grows at different rates. And from what I can see, you look pretty tiny in general, so that may be why.
You look tiny to begin with and you look short waisted (very minimal space between your ribs and hip bones. If this is the case when baby and uterus start to grow it has no where to go but out!
I hope you aren’t trying to hide the pregnancy any more 😉 I think you look beautiful!
karmalkween: You look like you have a very short torso like I do, and in that case, you will end up looking bigger than you really are (and at 36 weeks, I am all out front). It couldn’t also be a lot of bloating, even if you aren’t bloated anywhere else, which was my case as well.
Is this your first?
With #1 for me, I didn’t have a real pregnant-looking belly until I was 20 weeks.
With my current pregnancy, I started off at the same pre-preg weight as my first, but I’m 12 weeks, and look like I looked at 20 weeks the first time around! lol
Either way, I think you look adorable! You’re all belly!
I think your bump is bigger than some at 15.5 weeks. But I wouldn’t worry. Everyone shows differently. I am 9.5 weeks and I’m already showing a little. I’m worried about trying to hide it still at this point because I think it’s obvious. Like you I have a short waist so I bet I’ll look like you at 15 weeks.
Yeah, I agree — your bump is bigger than the 15-ish week bumps I’ve seen before. But as others are saying, baby’s got minimal space to work with and the REST of you is obviously built small, which only serves to make a growing baby belly look bigger. You have that “only a bump, otherwise doesn’t look pregnant at all” thing going for you. You look great, if I haven’t made that clear already.
Thanks ladies. This is my 2nd, and according to my 8 week ultrasound, there’s just one in there! I have an ultrasound next week so I’ll know for sure then. As pathetic as this sounds, I am still hiding it from other teachers and students at my job. It’s kinda obvious to some, but I wear layers to help conceal my belly. I figured I’d stop hiding it when we get back from spring break (which is next week) I never thought about the short torso thing. I guess it makes sense.
This pic is my last pregnancy at 33 weeks. I delivered at 38.5 weeks. I gained 40 pounds during that pregnancy and weighed up to 200 pounds.
