    It reminds me of Dolly Parton for some reason.

    Pretty dress, but a little busy IMO.

    I think if you are having these thoughts than it is not the right dress for you….. bc somewhere in the back of your mind you think you look rediculous in it and you dont want to have those thougts 6 weeks before the wedding and regret it! I would try on similar, maybe less busy dresses!

    It would be perfect without the belt!

    @MASPA: OOH, well said.

    I also feel like it could detract from people seeing “you” and instead just seeing “the dress”.  But I’m sure you could rock it if you wanted to and if you feel amazing in it, then by all means get it!

    I really like it! I think it’s definitely fashionable and not classic, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing!

    @confusedbridehere:

    First of all – Hi Date Twin!!

    Second of all, I really like the top, and I like the bottom. I don’t love them together. If you’ve already bought it and don’t have room in the budget for another dress – I think you’d have a few options:

    1 – take off the belt and have most of the train removed (I think that may tone it down quite a bit)

    2 – leave the belt but find a great seamstress and have a more simple tulle skirt attached to that bodice (I’m picturing a princess tulle skirt just without all the floofs – is “floofs” even a word – probably not), or a more simple bodice attactched to that skirt.  I’ve seen good seamstresses do wonderous things!

    3 – Rock it. The answer to your question is no, it doesn’t look “ridiculous” on you – its just a LOT of dress happening -and it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea. If you love it, F them though!

    Being completely honest, my first thought when I saw the picture was “Eeek…”

    I don’t like it, not that it looks bad on you though.  You look pretty, the dress doesn’t.  It kind of reminds me of spiderman…

    I kind of like the top, but don’t care at all for the skirt.

    Your body looks great, but the dress just has way too much going on! It’s wearing you, rather than you wearing it.

    Keep looking!!

    I think these photos aren’t doing this dress justice. I think it’s a lot of dress but once it fits your body perfectly, you are going to OWN it. I love risk-takers.

    I’m for it. You have balls.
