I like the second picture more; you look taller in it than in the first picture. Although I don’t like the top and bottom together (I prefer the bottom with simpler top), I think you look great in second picture. The dress has the wow factor. It screams red carpet and runway more than bridal. If that’s what you want, go for it.

Unless the majority of your family is into and can recognize high fashion, the “high fashion” aspect of your dress will be lost on them. My mom thought that my first pair of skinny jeans were mom-jeans because of the small ankle aperture. So even though they were DARK WASH and CLEARLY very fashionable, she did not understand what the heck I liked about it. Now my mom has more skinny jeans than I do.
And yes…it is very…voluminous in the bottom half. You don’t look ridiculous at all, but I’m not sure if I like the dress on a personal level. Your waist looks great though!

I think it’s over the top- it looks more like a fashion magazine “over the top”- you know the runway stuff that is conceptual that nobody really wears? I think the silhouette is nice but I agree that with all the beading on the top and the ruffly skirt you’ve got two different things going on which don’t play nice together.

Too much going on. The designer pieced together two different dresses. The silhouette fits you perfect, so herer’s my suggestion. If you like the top of the dress, I would find a trumpet style dress w/ the beading style of the bodice through out the entire dress. If you like the rufffles, I would go for a plainer bodice. Its definitely couture but when I think about addind a veil, etc it will definitely be about the dress instead of you.

I actually kind of like it! I don’t care for the veil with it, even though it’s simple (from what I can see) But I do like the dress, but I’m all about over the top dresses, if you can afford one, I couldn’t lol :/ But I did find one when I first started looking that had a very elaborate long ruffled train. I wish I would’ve been able to get it 🙁

It took me a minute, and the second pic is better, but I think it’s kind of incredible! Especially if you’re having any kind of big or elaborate wedding. Your figure looks fantastic and it’s your one day to rock a gown like that, so if you love it, go for it!

Seeing the second pic, yup, it is def the belt throwing it off. I love it without the belt.

I love the bottom! But I think the belt might be clashing with the detail on the top! Go for it but change the belt.

It looks a lot better in the 2nd picture. You could totally rock it if you loved it and it fit the theme of your wedding. For me, it would be way too over the top though.

You seemed sad no one liked it.. which probably means you really do like in which case do not worry what others think it is a very pretty dress and would be great for a fancy wedding… with that said I also think it would be prettier if you loose the belt!
