Girl, if you rock it and it is inline with your venue no one is going to bat an eye. As long as you feel great in it.

I really love the top – I’m a sucker for intricate beading. But I worry the crazy amount of ruffles may date. Perhaps try to find something as intricate but without so many ruffles. Also, I love the art deco feel of the top so stick with that look and you will be fine.

Edit: Fark…I hate responding to old threads accidentally!

@confusedbridehere:  at the end of the day it’s all about what you feel comfortable in. I saw the new dress and it’s absolutely stunning and looks beautiful on you! I just tried on my dress again today for my mother in law… Without the belt, in white and will post more pictures as soon as I’m off my phone and onto a computer. It was the first dress I tried on, first dress I fell in love with and after looking more I realized for me personally nothing else compared. I learned not to worry about others opinions, I only get this day once! (Hopefully hahah!!)

First off I love Lazaro. He can get a little carried away by adding to much (dramatic shape, beading, ruffles, textures, etc.). If you love it and have that type of style every day, I say go for it.

He has a few other dresses with the same silhouette and idea, but slightly less going on (still dramatic)…

I love lazaro but the kind of people that like his designs are people that love drama and this dress is very WOW.  I personally love it but it’s about what you love.

I love it! Especially at a fancy pants venue
