You might get away with it but I would be afraid of being stepped on if you plan on dancing a lot or something.

You might, but I’d be worried of it being stepped on or getting really dirty after awhile. Get your dress shop to show you a few different options for bustles before you decide not to get one, because some of them do indeed look nice.

Maybe you could do an under bustle where it pulls the train underneath?  That might look pretty with that dress.

Even tho it doesn’t look very long,I’d be more worried about someone coming behind you as you begin walking away and the whole back ripping……or worse yet, starting to come off of you! You’ll be way more comfortable with it bustled and a good seamstress will know how to make it look great.

Definitely get a bustle put in. Even if you don’t use it it’s good to have the option. I only had a short train and my Bridesmaid or Best Man stepped on it and put a hole in it during the ceremony!

I had a really subtle underbustle: it didn’t remove the train entirely but shortened it. Perhaps that’s an option too.

If you find a good seamstress they should be able to work out a way to bustle it without covering up much of the beading.
