No, you don’t need a wedding theme. I don’t have one. Just work with your colors and what you like.

Yes, you absoultly need a theme – if you don’t have one, you won’t really be married.

Of course you don’t need a theme.

A theme (or feel) can come in handy for people who want to add more elclectic decor items. It helps keep you on track when looking for items, e.g art deco instead of vintage rustic.

You do not need to have a theme. Not required. I think themes are a little trendy right now, so I think it’s normal for people to ask. But don’t overthink it if you don’t have one. A theme can just be your color scheme. Don’t stress!

You don’t need a theme. We kind of said our theme was our guests. We wanted them to feel special and loved. So we had them at the centre of every decision we made. But I don’t really feel like that’s the same type of theme you’re being asked about! You are not missing out.

We had 2 themes – shit we liked, and we’re getting married.

All the theme we needed 🙂

No, you don’t need a ‘theme’. It’s good to keep the elements/colors to a minimum and reuse them, but themes can add more stress and be overdone easily.

My sister is law also asked me what my wedding theme was. I was really confused when she asked as I’ve never heard of someone having a theme at their wedding. When she explained what it was, I thought wedding themes sound really cheesy to me, but I am not sure as I’ve never been to a wedding with a theme before

underblueskies1016 : I don’t think you need a theme.  Having the downtown as the backdrop is theme enough to me.  In fact, I would think it would look a little weird if you had a really kitchy theme with such a pretty backdrop.

I’d love to hear where you’re getting married at. smile

No. No you don’t.

My theme is “shit we like”.
