After getting my set back from being resized, I could not be more in love with it. My guy did an awesome job picking out the e-ring and band and I love the combination. Well he was looking at them on my hand and told me it doesn’t look quite right and he thinks it needs another wedding band on the other side.
The more i think about it/picture it, it’s growing on me. I just don’t want my e-ring to be overwhelmed (I didn’t want a huge/overly blingy ring – I think they’re gorgeous but just not my personal style).
What do you all think? Would it look better with another band (kind of an enhancer style set up) or leave as-is?
I’ll get a pic of the side profile of it because the band & e-ring fit really nicely together that way.

Your set is really gorgeous and blingy as is, I think. With so many diamonds already, adding another band might overwhelm the e-ring.

Oh – this set is absolutely magnificent. Leave it with just the band – classy and exquisite!

I love it as is…I think if you add another band it would take up too much finger space for my taste. What you have is very classic, and doesn’t look like too much.

Keep it the way it is….your set is absolutely gorgeous now. Anything more would be too overwhelming.

No its perfect!! I think two bands will overpower your engagement ring too much. I love your set btw

I really like the set the way it is. The wedding band is gorgeous – I see it almost as a row of lace trimming under the engagement ring, like a vintage dress!

It’s perfect as it is, I think adding another band would overpower not just your e-ring but also your hand. Just enjoy your beautiful set 🙂

No! One wedding band per husband.

@ErinC6: DH and I planned on getting a 2nd band for a five year anniversary or maybe sooner before we got married… but now that we’re married and I have the band with the ring…I really think I want to leave it as is!
And holy cow — your ring is so much bigger than mind I feel like you’re entire ring finger would be taken up with BLING! (Not that that’s necessarily a bad thing, but I can understand wanting to leave it how it is!)

Ah, thank you all SO much. 🙂 I will definitely be a more confident in disagreeing next time DH brings up wanting to add to it! :p

I like it as is.
The way I looked at it, DH picked my e-ring all by himself. I wanted some say in my set, so I was going to pick my band. I have a 3-stone e-ring and he wanted me to get a custom curved band, but I wanted a straight one so I could have more flexibility with it, size-wise and style-wise. I got my straight band.
If he wants, he can always get you #2 for a milestone anniversary, or your first kid, or something…

I love it the way it is! I have never seen that combination before but, WOW! It’s gorgeous! If he really, really, really, wants to buy you another ring, tell him your right hand is always available.

@ErinC6: It is perfect the way it is! No need for an enhancer 🙂
