You don’t need super spanx, but if it would make you feel better, definitely just the general spanx will do!

Lighting is playing a HUGE role in this…I’m gonna say no, but I plan on wearing them whether I need them or not.

@garden_bride:  I agree… the lighting is creating shadows and the fabric is pulling. this is making the dress less flattering than i probbaly will on your big day. This is a beautiful dress and you still need to feel comfortable… i would say that if “regular” (lol) spanx will make you feel more confident… GO FOR IT

You look beautiful, but I know I would be self conscious with such a body conscious dress.  Spanx might give you that extra assurance.

No, I think you just need better undergarments since I can see a line…

I don’t think spanx will change anything other than make you more uncomfortable.  So I definitely don’t think you need it. Spanx might make you smaller, but the lines will still be there simply because the material looks thin.  I think you just need some sort of buffer between you and the dress.  Maybe need better undergarments.  A longline bra and a slip should smooth everything out. (check out the lingerie section of david’s bridal online.  You can see the difference a slip makes to a dress without restricting your ability to breathe.)

I think that material and fit of dress is ! for showing lines and any bumps! I think you look fine, but If you want some security, regular pair of spanx should be great.

I’m going to be 100% honest-because of the way the fabric is pulling, I would highly recommend Spanx. The fabric should lay smoothly across your hips, and support undergarments are FABULOUS for helping with this. I can’t tell if you have a little belly pooch or not because of the lighting, but to ensure that you look slim and fab after dinner I would definitely go with some Spanx.

Other then that, I think your dress looks great!
