I know that doing HIIT workouts can help trim fat from all plcaes on your body. I don’t think you need to lose any fat anywhere, but HIIT can maybe help tone you up. It’s also a good workout for your heart if anything and you can get a good, hard workout in about 20-30 minutes.

I think you look great but if you are concerned focus on cardio paired with core exercises such as: sit ups, planks, etc. this is what will build and lean your abs.
I also found yoga was a great way to strengthen my core and plus it’s not as boring as just doing some stationary exercises.

i dont have an answer i just came in because i want to tone up my core too so i’m taking notes. plus i wanted to say congrats on your progress you look great!

I think you look great! I’ve always had a bit of a “pouch” too, even at my thinnest weight (110lbs at 5’8″)! It’s because I refuse to give up sugar and carbs. I don’t go overboard on them of course, but I like to have dessert and I love multigrain breads, pasta, etc. I’d rather be fit with a little pouch and still get to enjoy my favorite foods! 😉

I don’t have any advice, more of a comment. You looking amazing!!!! I am just wondering what workouts you did and what did you eat? Have the same body type and trying to lose weight.

No advice here either, but I’m taking notes too. I have a slender build, but hold the most fat on my core/hips…I’m that skinny girl with the muffin top I can’t get rid of. lol I think you look great, and as far as I know, diet and weight training should get you to where you want to be!

barnes66: You already have a flat belly :-)I personally woudn’t lose any more as you would lose that nice slim athletic build and start to look too skinny
Also for most people who are thin with flat bellies and sort of eating, drinking ( even water) will inflate the belly a bit. I only really have a truly flat stomach in the morning before I even drink water!
You need to remember most models you see don’t eat or drink for hours on end / purposefully dehydrate themselves to get that look and there is always photoshop
You look amazing!! good work 🙂

You look awesome! I’m hoping to be in your position two months from now 🙂 HIIT is great for fat loss, from what I’ve heard and tried thus far. I also just started a free app for couch to 5k, which was really effective too. I’m still in week one but it’s basically HIIT running specific. I tend to be more of an elliptical girl, but the treadmill gets me working up a sweat. Also, swimming is fantastic for you. Yoga is a close second in my book 🙂

I’m curious what your goal is. If you want to look like a supermodel or a fitness model then yes you have to lose more fat. If you want to look like a slim sexy healthy woman, congrats, you’ve done it!! 🙂

barnes66: You look great! Abs and a flat tummy are made in the kitchen, not in the gym. Core exercises can help, but they will certainly not take away the fat from your belly region. Try to eat healthy, eat lot of protein and do planks.

Thank you,i used myfitness pal to track down my calories to lose weight and i exercise.Mostly running. It took me 9 months to go from 150 lbs to 122 lbs.I am 5`3 btw
It was a gradual process.I pretty much ate anything as long it fit into my calorie goal.I dont track calories anymore but i still get regular exercise and watch my portion sizes.I also do regular weigh in to make sure i am not gaining back

Even at 122 lbs i still have a butt, not as big as before.I carry most of my weight in my butt and thinghs .The thing if i decided to lose more weight ,i cant chose where the fat will come from .I dont want to lose all off my butt lol
