I’m planning a musical surprise for our recessional – do I need to put the music choice on the program? I don’t want to spoil it, but I want to give credit at the same time.
Do I even need to put the music (processional/recessional) on the program at all? There will be music playing during the waiting period, and I know I don’t need to put that on there.
I want to get my programs printed, but I’m so indesive about music choice I’m scared to commit to something, print the programs, and then be stuck with it.

I would just put “Processional” and “Recessional” and then credit the musicians by the name of the company and their individual names

I’ve read that it’s all or none. You can either put all musical choices on the program or no musical choices on the program. Are you having any songs during the ceremony?

No songs during the ceremony. If it helps, here’s a ceremony breakdown:
Music being played before ceremony
Ceremony starts: groom and officiant appear.
Ceremony (no songs during, although we might change this for a small interlude during the wine box ceremony)
There is no bridal party, so the songs will only play for the two minutes it takes us to walk from from the main house to the ceremony site.

I would probably just put “Processional” and “Recessional” without actually naming the songs then.

Thanks! Sounds like a plan!
