Absolutely do not need a wedding car!

My venue came with transport included but if it didn’t I would not bother. People will hardly see it anyway.

I’d rather spend the money on more food and drinks. Our venue is 45 min away and I still don’t see the need. But I’ll be there a few hours early to use the bridal suite. No ones going to see me drive up so the Mazda 3 works. Is this something you always wanted or just extra wedding fluff?

You do not need a wedding car. My friend had a wedding car to whisk the couple away after the wedding. Because it was late at night, it was too dark to properly see or appreciate the car.

Just thank guests for coming, hop in a regular car, and head off, while saving yourself £350+

We booked a top of the range BMW with driver from a local company for £75 for 20 min journey. I wouldnt have spent more than that. I don’t particularly like classic cars and they were all quoting £250 which seems crazy when it’s really just for photo ops.

nadi21 :  We did not have a wedding car. I think its just one more added expense, and really what’s the point? My venue was a 40 min away. We got ready at a hotel, drove 5 min. to venue and that was it.

You definitely don’t need one- better to save the money or spend it elsewhere 🙂

Nope! We didn’t have one. It didn’t seem worth the extra cost.

We did not get a wedding car. Our ceremony/reception/accomodation are all in the same location, so I am arriving there at 9am and sleeping there that night. So no one would even see it. The only reason I could understand getting one is to take you from the ceremony to reception venue if they are in different places.

Absolutely not. We went home in my car because our venue was only 15 minutes from our house.

Nope, the thought never even crossed my mind.  I showed up at my venue dropped off by my brother in my parents 1994 volvo (granted I got married 6 years ago, it was still 17 years old…)

I didn’t have one as I didn’t think it was worth the added expense. Our venue was a 10min drive away. We just put my brothers non-fancy Skoda through the car wash and the wedding ribbon on it and it was fine. Don’t regret it at all.

Absolutely not needed! I would rather spend my money on anything else and I did. We drove around in my husbands new Honda Accord and it was 20 mins to ceremony and 30 to reception. It got a nice bath beforehand and it was ready to go. There are even pictures of us getting into it and us in it leaving. Zero regrets

We basically just needed a ride to the venue about 25 minutes from the hotel to the venue and we got a limo last minute and it was not worth it imo. Looking back it was a waste of money and I would rather have taken 2 or 3 Ubers/cabs to get there.

Unless it’s part of your ceremony (like it drives you right up to the aisle or something) or even pics, I don’t think it’s necessary from my experience.
