Hey everyone, just wanted to share my small dillemma..
My Bridal Party consists of my two younger sisters, and my childhood girlfriend. I don’t have a lot of female friends, I talk to lots but no one close enough to ask to be in my Bridal Party along with these three girls. and I’m totally fine with that!
My younger sister (one is 12, one is 14, the 14 yr old said this..) thinks that I should make her my Maid/Matron of Honor, and then I’ll be our younger sister’s Maid/Matron of Honor and then the 12 yo will be the 14 yo’s Maid/Matron of Honor.. Which makes sense, but I’m over 10 years older than my youngest sister, and they’re absolutely best friends. I know when the time comes, they will want each other as Maid/Matron of Honor – and I don’t want to pressure either of them to choose me. Also, I don’t want to have to choose between the two of them!
I COULD choose my friend, she’s my age – but I feel like choosing her over my sisters would hurt their feelings.. And truth be told, she’s about as helpful as the two of them. Even though she drives and could potentially help – she has her own stuff going on and seems to forget I’m getting married and could use help.
SO! All in all, I intend to do most of the planning on my own, and when I need help I will use all three of them and/or my mom – who is fantastic! Do I REALLY need an official MOH? I love my girls, I hate choosing one to be honoured more than the others. (Though we joked that i could have a Maid of Honour, a Maid of Love, and a Maid of Beauty :P)
