- Wedding: June 2013
I am inviting my church to the wedding AND reception. I am putting the invite in the weekly bulletin for a few weeks before the wedding. I do not plan on sending anyone from church a separate invitation, except for family, which would just be 2 families. (I have a very small family) I want everyone to feel invited and I don’t want to single anyone out. The church ladies are planning a shower for me and will announce it in the bulletin. This is my question: I know you are supposed to invite people who attend the shower to the wedding, but technically, they will be invited through the bulletin. Do I need to send out separate invitations? My Maid/Matron of Honor is hand-making the invites and I don’t want to have to tell her she has to make 30-50 more. Thanks!
Also, do I send my organist an invitation or just let her be invited through the bulletin. Her extended family is very involved in church and I don’t want them to get upset that they didn’t get one. (As I am in choir with them)
