(Closed) Do iPhones help in a LDR?

@marinewifetobe:  They can typically bring phones overseas/on deployments, however the phone may or may not work, or it may cost a fortune to use it (without wifi).

DH bought a ‘world’ phone so that when he was on deployments and would pull into ports, he could just buy a SIM card locally and use that to call me. It was awesome cause we could get in touch with each other even if wifi was unavailable. 

But mostly it will depend where he is, what he’s doing, and what his command/mission allows.

I love love love FaceTime!! I’m in Mass and my partner is in Fl so that helps us out a LOT 🙂
