@kmconda: The jeweler I ordered my wedding band through tried 3 times to convince me that I didn’t want a rose gold ring. I actually wanted white gold, obviously, as it would match my e ring better. I insisted, and it took a few back-and-forth exchanges, to convince him that I knew what I wanted and I didn’t want white gold.
Jewelers don’t know best always!

Sorry the pic is so big, but I LOVE my pear!! I definitely think you should get one if that’s what you have your heart set on!

@kmconda: Mine came from Joe Bucci, Bucci Jewelers 117 W Ridge Pike Conshohocken PA (610) 476-1707 ilovejoebucci. com. It’s a heart, with a halo. My fiance was insistent on getting a heart and they’re possibly even more impossible to find than pears. You can custom design and his rings are reasonable. Someone recommended a couple of jeweler’s row shops, but I’ve been told by more than a few people, that their salesmanship can be very agressive. My sister also got hers from Bucci’s.

@kmconda: I would choose a pear over a round brilliant or princess anyday! My only input to my ring was that it was either an antique cut, pear, or oval. Keep looking and I’m sure you will find the perfect pear! There are really stunning pear rings here on the Bee for inspiration!
