@FutMrsPrather: if you are getting another band to go with it, I almost feel like the moissy could be a bigger as to still have a signifigant presense with the bands.  I wear a size 4-4.25 and I definitely dont think 1.5 looks gaudily  (if thats a word) big or tacky on my hand.  Also, it’ll probably be easier to regret or wonder if you should have gotten the bigger one, than to just get the bigger one and wonder if its too big… cause after seeing at it on your hand, you will soon get used to it and not think its too big anymore.

@FutMrsPrather: You have to do what’s right for you.  Marriage lasts longer than a job at a certain company.  This ring is what you’ll be looking at for a very very long time.  Go with what makes YOU and SO happy.

I got my moissy loose and then put it in a temporary setting just to see what it would look like, and I definitely thought it looked biger once in the setting.

I’ve posted 2 threads which show the difference, if you want to click on my name and check out the posts for comparison.

    Hope that helps!

Once set it WILL look bigger, but not so much bigger that it will be crazy noticable.  So if you are feeling like it is small now, definitley return it and go for the 7.5mm.  Shrinkage is a real thing and can only be combated by more upgrades, so best to hold it at bay for as long as possible.  I started with 1ct and I am now up to 9mm-10mm stones…or 3.5ct+ Embarassed

@FutMrsPrather: This is gorgeous! The new stone looks HUGE! And it will definitely look bigger once it is set. Are you going with 6 prong? That will make it look bigger, as well!! 🙂
