From the front it looks great. The only thing that would worry me is if you have issues with escaping when you raise your arms or move around.

ETA: Are you wearing a bra? It might help you fill out the dress a little bit without looking like you are stuffing your dress if you wear a bra with a little padding.

I wouldn’t think anything looked odd unless you pointed it out. I’ve seen plenty of smaller chested women [me included- 32A] with dresses that have padding, so they look bigger. I think it looks fine!

I really cant see anything wrong. But if you’re worried, buy some chicken cutlets!

From the front it looks perfect… from the side, a bit flat. I agree with the first poster that suggested a strapless bra with a little lift.. not necessarily a ton of padding.

@ppplll6:  I saw this thing on here where you add simple loops to the inside of the dress to thread the band of your bra through to make sure bra and dress stay together 🙂

I second the padded bra idea. they look fine but might shift funny when your moving around

I had the same problem… and I really didn’t want to wear a bra, but it looked funny.. I still have a little bit of space in between the push up bra I have and my dress. The side looks a little funny.. but the front looks fine. I’d reccomend putting something in there unfortunatly.

I had the same issue with a formal dress a couple years back, and put in stick on push up cups that did the trick of filling out the chest area. I think I found them at Target, and I know Victoria’s Secret has something similar.

That being said, people shouldn’t be looking THAT carefully at your chest.

The front looks great… Not quite so great from the side – Hate to say it, but I think you’ll need to try wearing something underneath – Maybe having some cups with padding sewn in, a strapless bra, or the cutlets…

As a fellow A cup, I do think they look sort of funny and low. What do you mean, could not be altered? I would take the dress to someone else.

You can have straps sewn into the inside of the dress to keep the bra from peaking out. My dress came with the two by the zipper, but I’m planning on asking my seamstress to add one on each side under my armpits. This way I can wear a bra I already own without getting it sewn into the dress. Mine happens to have a lot of padding, which I wanted to make me fill out my dress.

Why can’t the bust be taken in to fit you properly? Just curious.
