    I think they’re beautiful together!

What is it that is causing you to wonder whether they look good together? Is it because there is a slight gap or is it because the wedding band is slightly wider than the e-ring band? If either of those are the reasons, I wouldn’t worry about it because I think the little quirks are what add character and creativity to your set. I am not a big fan of matchy-matchy sets in general…I have seen some matchy-matchy sets that were to die for and gorgeous. But more often than not, I think it is far prettier to have a slightly mismatched set such as yours. Yours is really, really, really pretty! Love it!

I really like them, too!  As the other bees say, it does really look like they go together.  I like how the band of diamonds on your wedding ring mirrors the diamond halo on your engagement ring.

My rings are not a set, either, but like yours, they have a similar aesthetic that makes them look cohesive.  They were my grandmother’s, and the engagement ring is platinum and the wedding band is white gold — but you’d never know it, because they look so great together!  I think ring sets are a more modern “tradition.”  From what I’ve read, it wasn’t very common at all in our grandmothers’ and great grandmothers’ day to have matching bands.  So it seems to me like you’re just keeping real tradition alive!

If you’re still having second thoughts about the gap, you could probably ask your jeweler if the two could be soldered into one ring.  You obviously wouldn’t be able to wear your wedding band by itself, but I know a lot of recently-married girls that have done that.  Or maybe for your first anniversary you could ask for a right-hand ring! lol

@chocolatecoveredstrawberry:  I think its a nice set. The wedding band looks like its the same as the halo setting so I think it is very fitting.

If you were going to change it, I might get a slightly smaller band to match/fit with the band on the e-ring but that’s the only thing I can see that I would change even remotely.

    It looks nice as is!
